Under the Sea

Last week, Colby and I went under the sea…

Okay, Okay. We actually went to the Shark Reef Aquarium in Vegas. It was still really cool. I even got to touch a sting ray!

And it didn’t get anywhere near my heart.

Rest in peace Steve Irwin.

I’ve been to Vegas twice this year and I really support all the non-gambling activities. Get out of the casinos, see some sites, and you will have a fabulous time.

We visited the Shark Reef Aquarium, the Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor, and the CSI Exhibit at the MGM. They were all very entertaining, but only the Shark Reef allowed pictures. (That was a bit of a bummer. You guys know how I like to take pictures!)

But these pictures were so much fun to take. I’m going to be completely honest, we don’t see a lot of tropical fish in Oklahoma. Who would’ve imagined, right? I see cows and antelope every single day, but it’s a rarity when I catch a shot of a jellyfish.

For $108 each, we spent an entire day exploring some really awesome exhibits. I had an awesome time. If you find yourself in Vegas anytime soon, I would suggest you visit some of these places. I promise that you won’t regret them.

No one is Vegas knows of me or my blog… Except maybe the security at the Monte Carlo who watched me taking pictures constantly. They probably think I’m weird… but who really cares, right?
