Work on the farm is rarely clean. Instead, it is usually gritty and dirty.
On this day, the men-folk of the family were working on the fan- belt on the pickup. For some reason, I feel like this picture captures the true essence of farm work.

You are so right. Farming=lots of mechanic work.
One day in the shop, I was under a tractor working on something, complaining, whining, wasting time, and my Dad (supermechanic) finally got fed up. He said, “Damnit, it’s a machine, it’s supposed to break. Shut up and fix it.” Truer words were never spoken.
Very true. My dad’s a super mechanic too. 🙂
The only thing worse than tractors, pickups, etc is sprinklers. Those things are ALWAYS breaking down. (Especially when I have plans.)
